It is always a challenge to create a distinctive home on tight budget. First of all the structure was altered very simply with the wall between master bedroom and the bathroom being replaced with a glass panel. Following this were two further alterations: moving the door of the guest room to the south side (which created sufficient room for a large TV wall) and changing the kitchen to a Chinese cooking area separated with glass from the dining area. The entrance hall now looks much larger than before when looking through to the dining area and kitchen. The owners being a young and modern couple, the decoration style was to be natural and simple. The floor was whitewashed cement with 3cm tiles paving the entrance through to the western wall of the dining room. Using different colours for the sofa and curtaining created an ideal environment for the leather luxury armchair and dining chairs which made for a very inexpensive yet very stylish finish.
